CineMatsuri

CINEMATSURI IS STILL GOING ON!
CineMatsuri showcases five of Japan's most recent and best films, each in a different genre, reflecting the richness and diversity of today's Japanese cinema. All films will be shown in Japanese, with English subtitles.
LINEUP FOR 2016:
·         Sugihara Chiune/杉原千畝 スギハラチウネ (Persona Non Grata)
·         Biri Gyaru/ビリギャル~学年ビリのギャルが1年で偏差値を40上げて慶應大学に現役合格した話 (Flying Colors: How a Teen Girl Went from Academic Absurdity to an Elite University in One Amazing Year)
·         Zakuro Zaka no Adauchi/柘榴坂の仇討 (Snow on the Blades)
·         Boku wa Bosan/ボクは坊さん。 (I am a Monk)
·         Nihon no Ichiban Nagai Hi/日本のいちばん長い日 (The Emperor in August)
CineMatsuri opens with a matinee performance at 1:30 pm on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the Ronald Reagan Building and continues with evening showings every night at 7 pm from Monday, March 21 through Thursday, March 24 at the E Street Cinema. Additional encore screening for "Persona Non Grata" will be held on Friday, March 25 at the Angelika Pop-Up at Union Market and Sunday, March 27 at the Bethesda Row Cinema.
